Relaxing Day at Campground

Thursday was a fun day just hanging around the CG. Beautiful morning so the Martins and us had a wonderful breakfast outdoors.  After clean-up it was time for another card game with the women victorious!  Yes!  Sam and Kathy arrived around 12:30.  We had our chairs in place to watch them set-up, but decided to go for a walk and give them a break!  After lunch we played 2 rounds of miniature golf, men vs. women of course, and the women really "shined".  Then on to Bocce where the men decided it was time to "show their stuff".

Supper time was positively delicious -we shared a rack of of Tony Romo ribs from Costco, they just can't be beat!  Messy, but so good!  Chuck and Melissa joined us from 8:30 to 11:15 around our campfire.  We had such a good time talking about camping and places we have all been.  It was a very special evening.  We taught them how to make "snakes" over the campfire, and they were pros in no time!  We are so blessed to have such wonderful old and new friends!
