Monday - Windy, Cooler Day!

We were both up by 6:30 and got ready for the day.  Ken left at 7:45 to walk with Ernie.  I showered, cleaned up, and then got breakfast organized.  I also did my devotions and stretches.

After breakfast and dishes, I left at 9:30 to pick up Noela and we were off for a shopping spree.  We went to North Port to Dollar Tree, Dress Barn, TJ Maxx, Ross, Bealls Outlet and Hobby Lobby.  It was a successful trip, especially for me.  I was looking for a dress for Alexandra's wedding (granddaughter of Cindy who is getting married on March 25th) and was happy with my find and the shoes to match!  I also wanted some tops with short sleeves which I haven't been able to find, but not so today!  Like I said, it was a successful shopping trip!

We only got back to the CG around 1:45 and Ken had spent the morning on the computer, doing some e-mails, checking accounts, and reading!  He was happy with all he accomplished!  He also had a "traumatic" encounter with a gecko that has been in Wilbur for about 6 days or so.  We had brought in a folding chair before it rained and when it opened a bit, a little gecko ran out of it!  Every once in a while he would scurry across the rug in the very front of Wilbur, but we couldn't catch him.  Today he was on the window screen and when Ken tried to catch him in a cloth, he leaped out of it right across Ken's body!  He thought he may have jumped down his shirt, but no!  When we were chatting, he was on the window and Ken was able to catch him in the cloth.  We no longer have a boarder!   I ate lunch and then wasted time playing a game on my tablet.  I really need to break that habit!  Ken made salads while I set-up to do sea glass pictures!

At 4:15 we went over to Ernie and Noela's to relay the gecko story and then go to the shuffleboard courts.  The ladies won the 1st game by a huge margin, lost the 2nd one by quite a bit, and then the men won the tiebreaker.  Back to Wilbur to have dinner and Ken left at 6:45 for Celebrate Recovery.  I did the dishes and then spent the evening making sea glass pictures while watching The Voice.  I have a craft show at Englewood this Saturday and now have enough inventory - Yes!

Ken was back by 9:00 and in bed by 9:30.  I cleaned-up my craft "mess", worked on this blog, and got to bed around 10:45!

Today was extremely windy and in the 60's with off and on sunshine.  The next 5 nights are supposed to be in the upper 40's with daytime temperatures in the 60's.  By the weekend, it should be in the upper 70's again!  What happened to the Florida warm weather!
