Ken and I got up at 8:30 and felt more congested than yesterday. Not sure what is going on. I think we keep passing it back and forth. Ken had stomach cramps a lot of the night and didn't sleep very well. I think he didn't give his "belly" enough of a "rest" after not eating for 1 1/2 days. So, we were both rather tired and achy.
I started packing up all the food we would be taking with us to Florida and washed out part of the refrigerator. It was amazing how little food we had in the refrigerator and freezer! We kept busy all morning.
At 12:15 we left to visit my parents and play Pinochle with them. We always have a good time, but Ken and I were a bit concerned that they don't get sick after being with us. We wanted to spend this time with them before leaving for winter and they were looking so forward to our coming. So we will just pray that they stay healthy. It was another victorious day for the women! We said our good-byes (with their blessing) and stopped at Polly's on the way home to pick up our bikes and the bike rack. We arrived home at 5:45, tired but excited.
We spent more time packing and then loading the CRV. Can't believe we will soon be heading south. This time at home has been so special with our daughters families and the Grandma and PaPa time with the 4 little ones.
It is starting to get very cold here in PA so we are eagerly looking forward to the Florida warmth and sunshine.
