We stopped to get our car washed because it was the last day before our monthly program expires and after being at the beach it needed a good wash outside and sweeping inside! We were back by 12:30 and went over to visit with Ernie and Noela. Ken rested while I finished my devotions, downloaded photos, and worked on our blog. I also had nice chats with my mother, dad, and sister.
Ken and I left at 4:30 to go to dinner at Harry and Carolyn's home on the water in Port Charlotte. They invited all 11 of us who went on the mission trip to Louisiana in February. Several of us had toured the Tabasco Factory while there and Carolyn decided to treat us to jambalaya from the recipe she got at the factory. It was delicious and it was such a wonderful evening of fellowship while enjoying the beautiful view from their lanai. We are certainly going to miss all the wonderful new friends we made at the church this year and the mission trip gave us the opportunity to get to know these 9 special folks at a deeper level. We are so thankful!

We left there at 8:30 and Ken did some checking on Facebook before going to bed. We both read and then it was lights out! Another day to celebrate life!
