Ken was up by 6, but I only got out of bed around 8. Chuck knocked on the door to see what our plans were for today! All of us felt the need for a day of just staying around and doing some necessary things, such as get groceries, do laundry, get our blogs updated, etc. So, that is just what we did!
Ken and I made omelettes for breakfast, showered, and then Ken spent time on the computer payig bills and reviewing his accounts. I recorded expenese in our budget plan and got postcards ready for our granddaughters.
Ken and I went to Wal-Mart to get some much needed groceries (we hadn't gone to any stores since we arrived here) and ate lunch when we returned. Chuck and Melissa had gone to Wal-Mart too. After lunch, the 4 of us drove to Costco (about 9 minutes away) to do more "stocking up". Ken is not a shopper, but he loves going to Costco. We shopped together so we could share some items (some things come in such huge quanitites and RV's only have so much room!).
Back to Waldo and Ken deboned the rotisierre chicken and I headed to the laundry. After putting in the wash, I came back and helped find place for everything we bought. It can be a bit of a challenge. I headed back to the laundry and worked on my blog while waiting for the wash to dry. Ken began to pack-up things outside for our departure early tomorrow morning!
Then it was time to Skpe with Lanie, Bob, Samantha, and Katelyn. So good to see and talk to them. They are all doing well! Ken finished his work outside and then it was time for me to give him a haircut.
More work on the blog and getting supper prepared. After dinner and clean-up, we went over to Gregory's to play games. It was the mens night to shine. They won both games by large margins! We wanted to get them in good moods for all the driving they will do tomorrow.
Just a side note! When Ken and Melissa share a bowl of popcorn it is a sight to behold. Neither one of them can "shovel it in" fast enough. They love their popcorn. Melissa will be collecting it off the floor tomorrow morning!
