Only in the upper 40's when Ken got up but we did reach a high of around 68 today. Ken left at 7:00 to meet our insurance adjuster at his car to see what needed to be done to repair the damage from the neighboring factory! Fortunately he said it wasn't as bad as it appeared and it should be able to be buffed and repaired in about 2 days. So, from there Ken went to the body shop and was assured by the owner that Erie Insurance is easy to work with and there shouldn't be any problems. Now we need to set up a time to have the work done!
Ken was back home by 9 and we did some chatting concerning the condo we are considering purchasing in Florida. Ken made so many phone calls gathering information from insurance agents, the condo association, a heating/air conditioning company, Janet, a real estate agent, etc.
I left at 10:30 to meet Cindy and John at a nearby Sports Complex to play pickleball with a large group of players who meet there every Tuesday from 11 to 3. I had played there last year so it was fun to see the people again and especially to spend more time with Cindy and John.
From there I headed to AC Moore to get somethings for the girls for Easter and to buy yarn for making my baby afghans for Knots of Love. Home by 3:30 and after some more chatting, Ken and I decided to go for a walk. I did my devotions and worked on this blog and Ken left at 6 for Celebrate Recovery.
I spent the evening crocheting and watching The Voice followed by New Amsterdam. Around 9:00 we got a message from our RE agent in Florida and the sellers had given us a counter offer to the agreement we had signed. After talking about it, we decided to accept their offer but had a terrible time trying to get the contract back to the agent via e-mail. Eventually around 12:30 it went through, so tomorrow we hope to get the new papers signed by the sellers. It is getting exciting.
