On the way, we stopped at Camping World for Ernie and Noela and then it was on to the mall. The men dropped us off and then they went to Manatee Park about 15 miles from the mall. Ken really wanted to see manatees, which they did.
Noela and I spent time shopping, but without a whole lot of success. The men had stopped at Costco to get my prescription and then picked us up so we could go to lunch at Sweet Tomato, about 15 minutes away. By then it was 2:00 and all of us were "starved"! As per usually, we loved our lunch!
There was a Costco only 1 mile or so from Sweet Tomato, so we headed there for some food items. We only arrived back at the CG around 5, so it was a rather long day, but lots of fun! Ken went to the area behind our campsite to get some photos of the sunset. It was a beautiful one! Enjoy his photos -
The birds enjoyed it too! |
We certainly weren't hungry, so at 6:45 I went to play pickleball here in the CG. What fun with 5 other players. Back to Wilbur by 8 and Ken had kept busy writing a letter to one of his buddies and notes in the Valentine cards we will be sending to our daughters and granddaughters. We had a great phone conversation with Lanie, whose family is going through some challenges right now. I showered and by 9 was in bed reading. Ken joined me around 9:45. A little more reading and then off to dreamland.
