Ken and I had a discussion this morning of whether we should leave Lazydays this morning or stay on additional day. After checking out the weather on the Panhandle and the predicted storms we decded to stay here and leave early tomorrow morning. Also, we felt that a day with time to regroup and do more planning for our upcoming trip would be a great idea. So we went to breakfast here at, the CG, went to the store to purchase a lock for our hitching system and a new 25 foot water hose. We spent the remainder of the morning making reservations for the next week and then looking at CG options for Zion National Park. We also wanted to "get a handle" on the exact dates we would be in certain locations.
Ken made some calls to Verizon to get our bill corrected and I talked to Progressive regarding our surge protector. I was unhappy with the answers I got from Progressive. They realize their product has been having issues, but they still were not willing to pay for us to ship this one back. He even suggested that many people have a "spare one" just in case their is a problem - really???? I would be embarrassed to suggest that as an option for a faulty product.
We went back to the cafeteria for our free lunch, did some walking, and then spent more time continuing to work on our west trip. I did talk to Melissa and we will talk this evening to verify dates and possible CG's and will then make our reservations together. We also hung the US map on our slide outside and starting putting on the states where we have camped. Looking forward to adding many more after this 100 day trip.

We are ready to fill in a lot more states! |
I talked to Lanie today and she was happy to report that the meeting she had with Katelyn and the IU 13 in PA regarding young children with possible problems went fine. She had taken Katelyn there because of a stuttering issue Katelyn has had for about 6 months. After an hour of questions for Katelyn to answer (which was very stressful for Lanie and very long for Katelyn) they said they are not concerned at all and it will just go away with time. They also discovered that she is "one smart cookie". They had to ask her questions until she got 5 wrong, and they finally just quit when they reached Kindergarten level questions and she still didn't miss 5 of them. Yeah Miss Katelyn!!!!
Ken and I had a repeat dinner of yesterday, cleaned up, and Ken dumped the tanks. We took another walk and then spent the evening relaxing and watching TV.
