Bria and Cali had a good night's sleep at our house until Cali got up at 5. Said she was wide awake, but she had prayed that God would have her go back to sleep. No go!!!!! So PaPa went to the LR and she got into bed with Grandma. Then she asked me to pray for her, which I did. 20 minutes later she decided to go back to her bed and she did it quietly so Bria stayed asleep. They were both awake at 6:30 but only came to our room at 7. PaPa joined us and they did a singing show. So cute!
They watched 102 Dalmations while we got ready. As per request, they had pancakes, Corn Pops, and fresh fruit for breakfast. They played with Legos and did some painting while I prepped for making potato filling. After lunch we played a few games before Jamie and Dane arrived to take them home at 1:15. It was a fun time for Grandma and PaPa. Later that evening Jamie called to say that Cali was running a fever and was vomiting. How quickly things can change!
Ken and I drove to Thomas Schaeffers RV where they had installed the braking and electrical system on our new CRV. They did a wonderful job both installing it and explaining how it operated. We were impressed. We had to drive home separately and both of us were abit tired.
We took a short nap and left at 5:15 to go to Fred and Doloris for dinner. They so graciously invited us for a delicious dinner and a fun evening of card playing. We really appreciated it for our cupboards and refrigerator are getting very bare! The women had a victorious night winning Hause by a landslide and then winning 2 of the 3 games of Skip-Bo. We were so excited, because we hardly ever win Skip-Bo. It was a wonderful night with very special friends. We will certainly miss spending time camping with them this spring and early summer. We always have such a good time. We hope to camp with them in August and September.
We were home by 11 and went right to bed. These 3 weeks are flying by!
