Ocean City, Maryland
We are at Ocean City from 5/11 through 5/16. We bought our condo in 1996 with my sister and brother-in-law. We have had many wonderful times with ourselves, and with our friends. About 3 years ago, after camping with our friends, we decided we did not want to spend the rest of our spare time at the condo at the ocean; we wanted to go to different places. The condo is now up for sale, and we are hoping to upgrade Miss Winnie at some point and time after the condo is sold. Interestingly enough, last year we went to Myrtle Beach this week, and we wanted to go camping this week, but felt since the condo was just sitting here we should save our money and come here. We keep talking about how much we miss camping. Tomorrow, Friday, we have 2 couples coming down to join us. They are our camping buddies, and are coming down for old times sake. Two weeks ago we spent 3 days at Elk Neck State Park in Maryland with these folks-what a great time. These last days we have walked and bicycled many miles as we continue our exercise program. I will bring you up to date with our health plan at a later date. Hope to get some pictures with our friends. Ken

Fun in the Sun
We just started our blog in May 2010, but wanted to share info and photos from our trip to Florida. It was our longest camping trip so far - 6 1/2 weeks in Miss Winnie in "warm" Florida! What fun!
Pine Island was a very unique area. This campground had some of the most friendly campers we have met and all the activities at the Clubhouse were a blast! Great place to bike ride and kayak.
We loved the painted telephone poles on Pine Island
Palm Plantations where trees are grown and then sold and shipped all over the world!

Loved the great cement biking trail that went the entire length of the island!
