Enjoying Sea Pines CG near Avalon, NJ

We had 1 week at home since our last "adventure" and it was a fun one, but very hectic!  So much "catching up" to do as far as family time and all the work that needed to be done both inside and outside at our house!  We were thrilled with all we accomplished, but rather exhausted!  Was great to reconnect with family and friends!

We left home on Tuesday morning to head to Sea Pines CG near Avalon Beach in NJ.  It is about a 3 1/4 hour rather easy drive from our home and proved to be "uneventful" - hallelujah!!!!  We have the same nice site as last year with the Kreiders across from us the Martins behind us.  Very nice setting!  We have been here numerous times and find it to be a great location and love having the woods like setting even though you are at the beach.

This is the lake area in the CG that offers a sandy beach
and lounge chairs for relaxing!
A nice, large, level campsite!

Tuesday we spent most of the afternoon setting up and visiting with the Kreiders.  Martins arrived at 6 that evening, so we were able to eat together and spent time reconnecting!  Enjoyed our time with them!

Wednesday was a very nice day with sunshine and temperatures in the low 80's.  We were on the beach at North Wildwood Inlet with the Martins from 11:30 til 4 and enjoyed walking the seawalk to the boardwalk at North Wildwood and then reading and relaxing on the beach.

Doloris and I had to share a small space in Willie when
we headed to the beach.  We were "cozy!"

This is the seawall walk from the Inlet up to the Boardwalk area!

They really refurbished the beach since last year!

The archway at the beginning of the boardwalk at North Wildwood!

Another day "at the office" collecting shell pieces for
the making of my jewelry!  I thought I was retired?????

The men built a fire and we had a delicious supper cooked over the wood fire.  Some card playing (which the women won) and then it was time for s'mores.  So good when you use large Reese's PB Cups and melt it on the cracker before adding the roasted marshmallow.  No calories in that creation!!!!!!!

Love being back at the beach and relaxing at Sea Pines!!!
