Our 1st Full Day at Stone Harbor Area

Even though we are closest to Avalon and Stone Harbor, we go to the beach at North Wildwood.  Really enjoy that area and you don't need beach tags!

The 6 of us met for breakfast at 8:30 to have omelets, bacon, toast, and plenty of good fresh fruit.  By 11:00 we were at the inlet at North Wildwood to soak in the sun, sand, and surf.  It was a positively gorgeous day with plenty of sunshine and very warm - much nicer than predicted!  Ken and I took a 2 hour walk on the seawall, along the beach, and on the boardwalk.  I spent sometime picking up pieces of shells for the making of more wire wrapped jewelry.   Could this be considered a business expense?????  We enjoyed eating our packed lunches on the beach and then we set-up Kubb and the women won both games.  Yes!!!!!!

This is the inlet where we go to spend time on the beach!

The beach at North Wildwood was very crowded on
the Atlantic!

Ken and I were back to Willie by 4 to shower and prepare for supper.  Spent time blogging too!  At 6:00, Richard and Bonnie arrived to spent the evening and have dinner with the group.  We had met them at the RV-Dreams Rally last Sept. in Hershey.  She had read my blog and saw we would be camping about 50 miles from their home, so she called and said they would like to come by the CG to see us.  We were thrilled.  So they joined us for the making of chicken packets to make on the campfire for supper and then we introduced them to "snake making" over the campfire.  It was a very enjoyable evening with very mild temperature and the bugs were cooperative.  So good to see them again.  They are hoping to be full timers by the fall of 2013 or the spring of 2014.  They left around 11 and after cleaning up, Ken and I called it a day!

So great to have Bonnie and Richard join us!

The happy camping group!
