Ken and I weren't in a hurry to get up, but we did want to play Open Pickleball which started at 9. So we had a light breakfast and headed to the court. No one there!!! We thought if we just started hitting someone might hear the hitting of the ball and join us. Around 9:30 5 fellow campers came to join us. They play lots of pickleball and were happy to refresh us on the rules and strategy. We had so much fun with Bob, Vicki, Lois, Barry and Donna. We only got back to Waldo around 11:30.
After lunch we headed home to meet the moving company who will be taking all our larger furniture to the apartment. We packed more dishes and brought "stuff" up from the basement to sell at the garage sale on June 13 and 14. We could have stayed home, but what fun is that!!!!
We got back to the CG around 5! After dinner we decided to take a walk around the CG. Walked pass Bob, Vicki and Lois sitting outside. They invited us to sit down and chat. We had a very nice time. What great people! The sky started to look very threatening, but beautiful. So, we walked swiftly back to our campsite just before the storm hit! Heavy rain with lightning and thunder, but it didn't last very long!
We relaxed the rest of the evening. What a beautiful weather day and special time with new friends!
