Family Celebration on Christmas Eve Day!

Didn't feel 100% when I got up on Thursday, but not too bad.  We got ready and drove to Jamie's house for our family Christmas Celebration!  So nice to have the 10 of us all together and Jamie is always a great hostess!

We had some time to chat while "brunch" was cooking and then were entertained by the 4 granddaughters who did a talent show for us.  Then we enjoyed a delicious brunch complete with mimosas, fresh fruit and incredible homemade cinnamon rolls.

Samantha enjoyed singing for us!

So did Bria with her cousin, Katelyn listening!  Katelyn was
actually the emcee!!

A delicious brunch in Jamie's sunroom!
After cleaning up, it was time to exchange Christmas gifts.  It is fun to watch the excitement of the little ones.  Ken and I had gotten our gift from the girls when we had returned from Florida in December - a 40" Smart TV.  What a surprise and it certainly was appreciated.

Opening presents in the Living Room!

Sam loved her purse with all the goodies inside!

Cali was happy with the limousine Lego set!

Katelyn will have fun painting a wooden
 jewelry box!

Bria was happy with her game of Life!

Jamie got in on the festivities too!

The ladies spent at least 1 1/2 hours putting Legos together.  They can be rather tedious, but the girls certainly love them.  This year's theme was the Rock Star series, so there was a stage, backstage set, and the limousine!

The ladies were in deep concentration putting all the Legos
together!

Then it was time to dance to the CD Lanie had gotten Bria and Cali for Christmas.  Even the mommies got in on the action.  They had so much fun competing against each other.

The sisters get very competitive when dancing!

Way to go girls!!!!!

The men spent time outdoors deep frying the Christmas turkey!  What a perfect day to be outdoors due to the record warm temperature of 70 degrees - crazy! Again, the meal was delicious.  Deep fried turkeys are the best!  When we finished eating, Jamie told the girls to pick their favorite color crayon and they were supposed to start drawing on the wall between the dining room and the kitchen.  1st they had to hold up their right hands and promise that they would only color on that wall and never, ever on any other walls!  They are going to be redoing their kitchen right after the New Year and that wall will be coming down!

What a Meal!!!!

Bria, Cali, Samantha, and Katelyn loved drawing on the
wall.

The celebration ended around 8 after being together for 10 hours - what fun!

Lanie had brought these fun Christmas props and we had
a good time using them!

So cute in their Christmas Jammies!

The Hosler Clan!!!!

We are so blessed with such wonderful daughters!

Ken and I decided to go to the 10 PM candlelight service at the church we used to attend and we were blessed to be there.  The music was so meaningful and it was so good to reconnect with friends.  Only got to bed at 12:30 and we were tired, but happy!
