Chuck and Melissa Arrive!

I stayed up very late last night reading and making jewelry and with the time change, we had a lazy morning.  We met some neighboring campers and spent some time chatting with them.  Then we started our walking for the day, stopping to take some photos of the owls.  We actually got a picture of the mom today and realize we only had the babies yesterday.  When we got to 6000 steps we stopped to play some shuffleboard.  Part way through the game (the courts are located behind the office) we saw Chuck and Melissa pull in.  They are the camping friends we met at the RV-Dreams Rally  in Hershey in 2011 and spent some time with them at Pine Island about a month ago.  They will be staying here until next Sunday and we look forward to doing activities together.  After chatting with them, we finished our shuffleboard match while they got set-up right behind us.  Ken was victorious today and he was so excited.

The four of us and Dan and Audrey, a couple we just met here in the CG sat outside chatting for about an hour.  Then we spent the rest of the afternoon with Melissa and Chuck including playing a game of Bocce which was a 1st for them.  Ken and Melissa were the winners at the end of a very close, exciting game.  I am certain there will be more matches before our week together is over.

After eating dinner the 4 of us met to take a walk around the CG to complete our 10,000 steps.  Then we enjoyed some key lime pie that I had made earlier today.  We chatted until about 9:15 and then called it a day.  So good to be with them again!
