I decided Ken must have really enjoyed our time at Ramblers Rest CG because he was willing to go the clubhouse for a delicious breakfast before we hit the road. He never wants to do that kind of thing on a moving day! We met some more very nice people who encouraged us to come back and hopefully stay on their street! It really was an exceptional CG for us!
We were on our to Southern Palms by 8:45 and completed the 160 miles trip to Eustis by 12:15. We are now located about 60 miles southwest of Daytona Beach. So far we are not overly impressed with the large CG, but we need to give it a chance! Tomorrow we plan to drive into the town/city of Eustis to the Chamber of Commerce to get info on possible bike trails and lakes or rivers for kayaking. We did take a walk around the park to get our 10,000 steps, stopping to play shuffleboard and a game of Bocce. They have wonderful courts for both.
No photos for today, but we were thankful for an "uneventful" travel day and the nice weather.
