Our 1st Day in the Eustis Florida Area!

Today was our 11th day of walking 10,000+ steps!  We are feeling rather proud of ourselves!  It really does take an effort some days!

We took a short walk early this morning before skyping with our daughters and granddaughters at 10.  The little ones did so well and we certainly enjoyed seeing and talking all of them.

We left the CG and headed to Eustis to get information about the area at the Chamber of Commerce.  We are in Lake County, named for the 1200+ lakes in just this county.  The lady there was helpful and we learned about some events that are happening in the area this week and next.  Then we went up the road to a Church in Tavares where they are having a Strawberry Festival and Craft Show tomorrow.  I was able to get a space to sell my jewelry, so that is where we will be bright and early in the morning.  Then we went to the town park to the large lake where they have boat and a steam railroad ride.  They also offer sea plane rides!  There are several outdoor eateries along the water too!

Another tri-colored heron!

Back to the CG to do our laundry and play some Bocce while it was washing.  Ken went back to Willie to get everything out of Diesel so we could load up all the necessary things for the Craft Show tomorrow.  Once we were loaded, we continued our walking and also played a game of shuffleboard - I was victorious again!  Poor Ken!

Doloris, one of our fellow campers from home, called while they were driving home from the RV Dealer towing their newer 5th wheel.  What an exciting time for them to graduate from a smaller trailer to a roomy 5th wheel.  They are going to love it!

Looking forward to a relaxing evening of maybe some Jewelry making.

Today was a very sunny day with temperatures in the mid 70's.  It is supposed to keeping getting warmer each day with no rain in sight!  Did I tell you how much I love Florida????
