Ken and I were up around 7:45 and decided to go for a walk around the CG. We walked for a total of 50 minutes! It was a very cloudy morning, but in the upper 60's with a strong breeze! A rather refreshing morning and we enjoyed the walk. It really is a rather nice CG with many permanents but they maintain their sites very well!
When we returned to Waldo, we showered and then sat outside with a cup of tea and relaxed while chatting with Fred and Doloris! Then we made breakfast in our rigs and rejoined to eat and continue the chatting. Cindy and John stopped by and we all had a relaxing time together. Then I went to Cindy and John's rig to do some more "tutoring" on how to maneuver around their blog. We worked on downloading photos. I think we made some head way and Cindy seemed to understand how to do it on her own.
By 1:30 Ken and I left the CG to head back to our apartment for about 24 hours. We want to attend the Hershey RV Show tomorrow to make reservations for our Florida trips in the Fall and the Winter, plus check out possibilities for our trip out west. Going to the show seemed to make sense for all the reservations we need to make! We made 2 quick stops on the way home for gas and some lunch and when we got to Lanc. Co. we stopped at a local produce stand for some fresh fruits and veggies! Then we visited our daughter, Jamie, and her family for about 1/2 hour. Bria and Cali were so happy to see us. It is exciting when your grandchildren come running at the sound of your voice and throw their arms around you! We had a very nice visit. We were at the apartment by 6:15 and I put in a load of wash. Then we went for a walk to complete our 10,000 steps for today.
We spent the evening watching TV and working on our computers while I did another load of wash. Looking forward to going to the RV Show tomorrow morning. It starts at 9 and we hope to be there when the doors open. We will leave there and head back to Sea Pines, planning to arrive in time for dinner at the CG with all our reservations made for our Florida camping adventures!
