We played cards until 11:30 last night, so it was a sleep-in morning. Ken read and we only really got "moving" around 8:45. After showers, we cooked breakfast outside and Fred and Doloris came over to eat with us. It was overcast and cool, but not raining! Ken and I must have been rather lazy, because the other 4 had taken bike rides around the CG before breakfast.
After a late breakfast, Fred and Doloris decided to go to the beach despite the weather - there were 20 mph winds!! Cindy and John headed to Wal-Mart and then for pizza. Ken and I stayed at the CG to make some appointments and then he spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone to technical support at Costco regarding problems with his computer. The lady was extremely patient and helpful. I did work on our blog and then started making jewelry. After lunch, we went for a short walk and then played 18 holes of mini golf. Then it started to shower. We continued to walk around the CG and by then the others had returned. Cindy and I took a trip to Big Lots and TJ Maxx (Doloris didn't want to go shopping) and Ken and John visited.
We all made dinner in our rigs, but Ken did use Fred's wood fire to cook our chicken! We enjoyed our dinner of chicken, leftover potatoes, salad, and a quart of sauteed fresh yellow waxed beans. After clean-up, Cindy and John came to play a game of cards. Doloris did some wash at the CG laundromat so they had a later dinner. We all got together about 8:30 for some game playing including Up the River (Ken won) and Cue Me (the women were victorious). It was another fun evening.
