We Combined Work with Fun!

Ken was awake from 5 on thinking about what needed to be done before heading back to PA.  Can't believe it is that time already!  Like I've said before, there are less days in a week and less hours in a day here in Florida!!!  It is true every year!

We headed to the pickleball court at 8:30 with Chuck and Melissa.  Back to Waldo by 10 after some very good games, but it was a very windy day for playing.  We actually adapted fairly well!  Then the work began. I made breakfast while Ken starting reorganizing the basement of Waldo, trying to determine what goes home and what stays.  Since we are leaving Waldo here for the 3 weeks we are back in PA, it gets a bit confusing as to what we need in PA.  Also, when we return, we are heading out west, and we don't want to take unnecessary things with us.  Needless to say, the CRV is going to be very full! After eating, I headed to the laundry with plenty of wash to do before leaving the CG.  I kept coming back to Waldo while it was washing and drying to go through our clothes, the pantry, and all the other cupboards sorting things for home and what needs to go out west with us.  At 2:30, Ken went to Winn Dixie for some important items like beer and wine!  At 4, Neil, Nancy, Chuck, Melissa, Ken and I met to have Happy Hour and play corn hole!  We had such a good time and Neil and Nancy's Hurricane drinks were a hit!  We did a lot of laughing and sharing!  Corn hole was fun too!

The Happy RVers

We struck a "funny bone" with Melissa!  There was a lot
of laughing while drinking the "hurricanes"!

Ken and Melissa at the Gregory's "personal
palm tree"!

Corn Hole is a very serious game!

Chuck and Neil were probably discussing cameras!

We were back to Waldo at 6:45.  Ken grilled filet and I prepared fresh green beans and asparagus.  Everything was delicious.  Costco steaks are the best!
Played games with Chuck and Melissa from 8 to 10:45.  Can't believe we are soon leaving to head back to PA!  But, I won't complain!  It has been great and in about 4 weeks we will be heading out west!  Wow!!   Are we blessed or what?????
