1st Full Day in the Bradenton Area!

It was a cloudy morning and a bit cool, so Ken and I decided it was a good morning to run some errands.  We went to the Red Barn, a local large farmers market, for some fruits and veggies.  Then we went on a "wild goose chase" to find the local Joann Fabric Store.  It was a small store that didn't have what I needed and it took some searching to find it.  Then it was on to Wal-Mart for groceries.  We didn't get back to Willie until 2.  Cindy and John  arrived when we got back and after some discussion, we decided it was too late to go to the beach and also alittle cool.  The sun was in and out most of the morning, but by late afternoon it was fairly nice and warmer.  Ken unloaded things out of the backseat of the truck so we can load for tomorrow's craft show.

The 4 of us headed to the pool area to play some shuffleboard.  Unfortunately the men were victorious both games, but the setting is so beautiful that Cindy and I were okay with the outcome.  (Not really!)  Ken was excited to take some sunset photos from the clubhouse.  This CG really is beautiful with the small lake in the middle of it.  Back to Willie where the women beat the men in our one and only game of Pinochle!  Cindy and John headed to their hotel around 8, giving me time to work on some additional jewelry for the Craft Show tomorrow morning!
