On the Road Again!

Well, today it was good-bye Arches NP and onto Zion NP.  The 4 of us were on our way by 8 for the 330 mile drive to Zion.  We traveled on all major roads with only 1 gas stop and 1 rest stop where we ate our packed lunches.  It was an uneventful drive, the kind we like!  There were many beautiful sites along the way.  I hope you enjoy the scenery as much as we did!

We arrived at Willowwind CG in Hurricane, Utah at 3:15 and it is a beautiful CG. We had stayed here in the Spring of 2015 when we traveled the southwest with Chuck and Melissa.  Hey you two, where are you????  We miss having you part of this trip!  

After setting up, which went fairly smoothly, I did laundry and Ken washed the front of Waldo.  After grilling dinner and cleaning up, Ernie and Noela came over to Waldo to discuss what we wanted to do while in this area and especially our plans for tomorrow.  We will go into Zion NP tomorrow, maybe drive to Bryce NP on Tuesday, and then spend more time in Zion while we are here.  We also discovered there is a Costco in St. George, about 15 miles from the CG, so it will have to be part of our schedule too!

All of us were tired from our travels, so we called it a day around 8:30.

We are looking forward to our time in this area!
