Saturday and Sunday - Some Rain and Very Little Sun!

Saturday Ken and I were up early and left by 9 to go to the Brandywine area to watch Katelyn's soccer game.  Her daddy is her coach and while watching the game, you can definitely tell that Bob is enjoying his roll.  It was drizzling when we arrived, but the rain stopped about 15 minutes into the game.  Katelyn had pulled a muscle in her leg at practice on Tuesday and it was still bothering her if she ran.  So she spent most of the game playing goalie.  Her team was definitely the dominant one, so Katelyn saw very little action.

Hey, how about giving me a chance to
show my skills????

I don't believe Samantha was too
interested in the game!!!

After the game, all of us went to September Farms for lunch.  What a great place!  They make their own cheeses, ice cream, baked goods, etc. and all of it is so tasty!  We said our good-byes after eating and then Ken and I stopped at the Craft and Flower Warehouse where I purchased a few inexpensive items for my cardmaking!

We got to Wilbur at 1:30 and did some clean-up and opened up the slides, blinds, etc. and at 2 a couple came to check him out.  They are retiring and hoping to go full-time, but they are rather new to the whole RVing experience.  We were able to answer so many of their questions and they appreciated all the helpful information.  It was hard to tell how strong an interest they might have in Wilbur, but it could be a consideration.

Ken and I were back home by 3 and he decided to go for a walk - I was too lazy!  So, I did some reading and clean-up.  At 5:45, we drove to Mojo's Asian Restaurant right outside of Lititz and met 9 other folks from LCBC (church).  Frank and Barb from Florida were here for a few days and they got the group together.  Ken and I are just learning to know some of these folks and we had a great evening.  We had never eaten at this restaurant (most of the group had been there before) and we found the food delicious and the service excellent.  We really appreciated being included in this fun time!

What great folks  to spend the evening with!!!

We were home by 9:30 (we spent a lot of time chatting, even in the parking lot) and went right to bed.

Today, Sunday, was another dreary, rainy day.  Ken had another very restless night (I think he is nervous about giving his testimony on Tuesday night) but did go back to sleep in the LR.  We left for church at 8:15 so we would have time to have coffee before the service with friends.  Frank and Barb were at church this morning too, so we got to visit again.

We sat with Jamie and Dane and after the fantastic service, got to see Bria and Cali.  We were supposed to go to their hockey game this afternoon, but it got cancelled due to the weather.  Ken and I went with Lloyd, Deb, Frank, and Barb for breakfast and never left the restaurant till 1:00.

Back home and we decided to take about a 2 mile walk.  We had a small window of no showers, so we took advantage of the time.  I worked on this blog and downloaded photos while Ken read and rested.  We watched some TV and Ken read while I crocheted.  We were in bed by 10.
