Thursday - Partly Sunny and in the Low 80's!

Ken was up before me and had completed all his reading before I rose near 7.  We watched the news and I did my stretches. He left at 7:45 to meet his friend, Gary, for breakfast and then did a few errands including checking out the baby owl  that is in Ephrata.  He was able to get a few good photos -

He decided to "take a peek"!

Why do you folks keep showing up daily to get photos?
It is getting rather "old"!!!

I spent the time doing a load of wash, having breakfast and styling my new hairdo which went well.  Ken was back home around 10 and did more reading.  I worked on this blog and downloaded photos.

After a light lunch, we drove to Masonic Homes to spend the afternoon playing Pinochle with Mom and Dad but stopping 1st for drinks for everyone.  What a fun afternoon and they always let us know how much they appreciate playing cards with us.

We left there at 4:15 and drove directly to Lanie and Bob's for a delicious dinner.  After dinner we all went to see Samantha's music concert which was just 3rd and 4th grade, but  visiting the library 1st to see the girls artwork.

Samantha's has the heart eyes!

Katelyn's pottery creation!

You have to look closely at Samantha's clay project - it is
a unicorn!

The dimension drawing incorporated the letters of Sam's name!

Both of these pictures are Katelyn's!

A mommy daughter moment!

Another mommy daughter moment!

It was a great program and well done!  Samantha had a small speaking part and jumped rope during on of the songs.

Waiting for the concert to begin!

Samantha was having a good time!

She jumped rope during one of the songs!

Before the finale,  4th graders played their instruments in small
groups.  I don't believe Samantha found it very entertaining!

Ken and I headed back home as soon as it was over arriving in Lititz at 9:15.  It was off to bed for some reading before calling it a day.
