Their mommy, Jamie, brought them to the CG at 9:15 in time to have a pancake breakfast with us. They were so excited to be camping again. Jamie left right after we finished eating and our time with just Bria and Cali began! We played some games and took a short walk. The indoor waterpark opened at noon and we were there for the opening. We had not been to Circle M with them last year so they were looking forward to spending the day at the park. Their is an area designated for littler ones and then a larger waterslide for anyone over 48 inches tall. Unfortunately Cali was too short to ride the big slide and she was upset. After all, she is on swim team and could have passed any swim test. But, rules are rules and only Bria was allowed on that slide. Amazing how well Cali handled the disappointment. We told Bria she could go on it every 10 minutes which appeased both of them.
Really nice waterpark for the kids! |
Both girls enjoyed the small enclosed waterslide! |
We left the waterpark at 1:30 to have lunch in Waldo and then went back from 2:15 to 4. Even Grandma took 2 rides on the large water slide. It was such a fun time for everyone. After enjoying some hand dipped ice cream here at the CG we all played a game of miniature golf - they have definitely improved their mini golf game! Then a small amount of time was spent in the arcade before returning to Waldo.
Even Grandma got into the action, bad back and all! |
You always need some ice cream on a really hot day! |
A challenging 18 hold miniature golf course that is under roof. The CG provides it for free!!!! |
Bria informed us that she knows how to play Skip-Bo which I found hard to believe. Ken and I just learned to play that game this past winter in Florida - thanks Chuck and Melissa. But, she really is good at it and understands all the rules - impressive!!!! After having some "down time" watching a princess movie, we had a late dinner of hot dogs made on PaPa's open fire and grandma's mac and cheese. S'more time was another highlight of the day. Then Bria and I played some Skip-Bo while PaPa and Cali enjoyed Crazy 8's - Skip-Bo is alittle tough for a 5 year old!
PaPa likes playing card games with Bria and Cali! |
Spent sometime catching lightning bugs before going inside for showers and part of another princess movie. Then we all enjoyed watching Ninja Warrior. Everyone was asleep by 10:45 after a fun-filled day! Sam and Katelyn will join us tomorrow morning, probably in time for another pancake breakfast!
Looks like a great time had by all....
