We had placed an alarm clock in Sam and Katelyn's sleeping area - Sam needs to see a clock so she knows when it is time to get up. She is supposed to stay in bed until 7. Sam and Katelyn came to our bed and said it was almost 7. (She had our clock, so we weren't sure what time it was!) After playing in our bed and chatting for awhile, we went out to the kitchen and it was only 6:45. We had "been had"! Then Sam remembered it said 6:15 when they came to our room!
Another short princess movie was watched while we got ready and made Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast. Then we started cleaning up inside and out for the trip home. We took a walk to the CG store, played another round of miniature golf (which went well since the little one already knew how to play!), and then played in the arcade!
Back to Waldo and we decided to go to the waterpark for about an hour before heading home. They had so much fun again!!! Ken went back to Waldo to pack us lunch and bring it to the waterpark for alittle picnic! We were on our way home by 1:30. I helped Ken get Waldo backed into the parking lot at our apartment and then he unloaded while I took Sam and Katelyn to meet their Mommy at Shady Maple parking lot. They had such a good time and so did PaPa and Grandma. I made several stops before I got back home at 5:30. Ken had almost everything unloaded and a load of wash started. What a guy! He even got supper ready while I continued putting things away and doing more wash.
We are so blessed to have these camping opportunities with our granddaughters! They are such a joy, but it can be exhausting! Hopefully we can get back to some kind of routine and normal schedule this next week. It seems like quite awhile since that has happened!
I always say it's great to visit with the grandkids.....and it's great to when they go home...lol
