A Beautiful Day Camping at Hershey!

What a positively gorgeous day!  Plenty of sunshine with a nice breeze and lower humidity!

Ken went to the LR around 5:30 but did go back to sleep.  I was up by 7:30 and started prepping for breakfast.  Ken cooked and sliced delicious fresh fruit while I got ready.  We loved eating outside, enjoying the wonderful breeze.

Cindy and John got to the CG around 9:30, but were not able to find a campsite on the hill.  They got a nice site in section B, so we will have to do some walking to visit each other.

Ken spent time on the phone with Highmark trying to find out when and how we drop our my health insurance in August and Ken's in September when we are eligible for Medicare.  How can that be???  I really don't feel that old most days!!!!  Those calls can be "painful", but I think he made some headway!  I spent that time making some pendants from pieces of seaglass we had found.

After lunch, we loaded our bikes and went to their site to chat and to provide a tire pump for their bicycle tires.  The 4 of us drove to the Rail Trail at Colebrook that goes around the Mt. Gretna area.  Cindy and John went about 3 miles and then turned around.  It was the 1st time Cindy has done much riding since having hip surgery and treatments on her foot.  She did well.  Ken and I continued on to Cornwall and about another mile beyond that area.  This trail can be rather challenging, especially heading from Cornwall back to Colebrook. There is an continual incline for about 3 1/2 miles and it is tiring!!!!!!  Then the last 2 miles back to the parking lot are downhill and you get a nice break!  We did 16 miles and were very happy when we were finished.

I enjoy spending time with my Sis!

The trail was so lush and beautiful, but rather challenging
at certain areas!

Time for a "selfie"!

Looks like I am going through a canopy of trees!

We were back to the CG by 4:20, showered, and enjoyed Happy Hour!  We had leftovers for dinner and some red rice and beans.  Neil and Nancy stopped by while we were eating and we had a nice time visiting.  Neil was feeling better today.

We walked over to Cindy and John's site at 7:45 and played Racko outside and then moved inside (so we could see the cards) and played a game of pinochle which the women won!

Back to Waldo by 10:45 and we went right to bed and did some reading.  This was a very nice day!
