Time to Leave Circle M!

I was up one time during the night with Katelyn.  Samantha is such a restless sleeper and moves around the bed all night, taking all the blankets with her! When I went out, Sam was across the bottom of the bed.  Not sure how she manages to sleep through the night with all her moving!

We were all up by 7 and the girls watched a short princess movie while I made another batch of Mickey Mouse pancakes.  Ken took the girls to the playground while I got ready and then cleaned up the inside of Waldo for heading home. Then I went to find them so Ken could return to Waldo and get everything outside ready for the trip home.  They were playing another round of mini golf! I stayed with them till they finished the 18 holes and then we returned to Waldo. PaPa was just about ready to head back to Lititz.

Samantha, Katelyn and I waked to George and Jean's campsite to say good-bye to them and when we returned to Waldo, we were ready to leave the CG.  The girls and I drove in the car followed by PaPa in Waldo.  We returned to Lititz by 11:30.

The girls did a great job of sitting on their chairs in the parking lot of the apartment while Ken backed in Waldo and as we loaded the CRV with items that had to be taken out of the motorhome (it gets too hot in there until we leave again on Wed.).

After unloading and unpacking, we had lunch and then the 4 of us walked to Lititz Springs Park to feed the ducks and play.  The park is all set-up for their big 4th of July celebration, so there was lots of things to see and do.  On the way back, Katelyn fell over some uneven squares on the sidewalk and did a good job of brush burning her knee.  The site of her blood sends her into a frenzy and we could hardly get her calmed down, especially everytime she would look at the bleeding knee.  Fortunately there was a policeman riding bike and saw our issue.  He took us across the street to the police station and got us a bandaid so we could cover the bleeding!  The only was we could get her to calm down was when PaPa said he would put her on his shoulders for the 4 block walk back to the apartment, but only if the crying would stop.  It worked - Hallelujah!

When we returned to the apartment, Katelyn was exhausted from all the "trauma", so she took a nap.  After dinner, we sat on our chairs along the curb right in front of our apartment to watch the traditional July 3rd Parade here in Lititz.  Samantha and Katelyn loved it.  What's not to like - they each got a gallon bag filled with candy!

The parade is sponsored by the Lititz Lions Club!

The girls like the fire trucks!

Parades are so much fun, especially when they throw out
lots of candy!

Complete with an airplane!

This is our can stash from the parade!
By 9 they were in bed and I was right behind them.  It was a fun, busy day and Grandma and PaPa were tired!
