The Fun at Circle M Continues and We Had Samantha and Katelyn!

Okay, I admit it.  When we have all 4 granddaughters at the campground, I can't find the time to keep up with the blog!  So, I am going to play "catch up".

Bria and Cali had a great night's sleep and only got up around 6:45.  They watched a Princess Movie while I showered and Ken got ready to go to pick-up Samantha and Katelyn.  He left at 8 and I made my famous Mickey Mouse pancakes and bacon for Bria and Cali.  After some clean-up,  the girls and I went outside and dealt the cards for Go Fish!  Just as we started the game, Ken arrived with Samantha and Katelyn.  The 4 little ones were so excited to see each other.

After they had some time to play and debate their "pecking order", we all walked to the mini golf course and Ken and I helped them play the 18 holes. They actually did very well.  Last year Katelyn didn't need any help, because she "knew how to play".  This year she was open to help and instruction. These girls really are growing up!

Time to walk to the mini golf course!

They were all willing to be helped and improved so much
since last year!
Samantha was really concentrating!

The toothless gal, Cali, really enjoyed playing.

Katelyn was happy to have Grandma's help!
Bria took it very seriously and did well also!
The Happy Foursome!

Then we went into the arcade to play some games.  Everyone needed a lollipop too.  Then some time was spent on the playground.

How do you like my  moustache????

Future race car drivers!!!!

We may be a little big for this merry-go-round, but
it is tradition to ride on it!

Bria took her turn driving too!

Being the youngest, Katelyn seems to enjoy the playground
the most!

Now it is time for follow the leader
while balancing!

Samantha may be the oldest, but Cali is
taller!

Back to Waldo to eat lunch, change, and get ready to go to the indoor waterpark. When we walked out the door of Waldo, who is there to greet us but George and Jean, fellow campers that are from North Carolina.  We  joke that they read our blog and then "stalk" us, arriving at CG's where we are parked. We are thrilled, for we are always happy to see them!

Our good camping friends, Jean and George!

Not sure what happened, but Katelyn cried most of the way there and said she just wanted to go back to Waldo and nap.  I was certain she would be excited when we got to the water, but it still took some time for her to actually go in. Grandma was finally able to work her through it, but I had to "convince her" to go under the mushroom and get wet!  After that she had a great time playing with her sister and cousins.  All 4 of them did so well together.

Katelyn was determined to not have a good time
when we first arrived at the waterpark!

So, Grandma had to help with an
attitude adjustment!

Here comes Bria down the big waterslide!

Katelyn's attitude is starting to improve!

Bria at the smaller waterslide!

Under the mushroom!

Katelyn was too tired to be part of the happy
swimmers!

Katelyn is having a good time now!

Cali usually has a smile on her face!

Come on Papa, go into the mushroom
with us!  What a special PaPa!

PaPa adores his special little ladies!

Bria and Cali were tall enough to go across on the stepping
stones, and they really enjoyed it!

Seems to be a meeting of the minds!

By 3, Katelyn was tired and asked to go back to Waldo to nap.  So, I took her back and Ken stayed at the waterpark with Bria, Cali, and Samantha.  I changed Katelyn and while I was moving things around so she could sleep in our bed, I misjudged the stairway in Waldo, fell backwards and "bumped my way" down all of the steps, landing on the stones to the left of the door.  The whole way down the metal steps I kept thinking, I hope I don't break anything or knock myself out, because only a 4 year old is here to help me!  It is amazing what goes through you mind as you are falling and unable to stop the action!  Fortunately, I was able to get back up and nothing was broken.  As the day progressed, I found more and more bruises and brush burns.  I am just thankful nothing serious happened.

Katelyn took over an hour nap, waking when she heard the group return.  Then grandma put on her bathing suit and stood in the shower while washing each of the girls one at a time.  What a hoot!

Ken built a fire and the girls made hot dogs and we also had mac and cheese, and corn on the cob.  Then we had s'mores, a favorite with everyone. We walked to the store to enjoy ice cream cones.  When we got back to Waldo, Jamie and Dane had arrived.  We had a nice visit, played with the bubble wands and then they left at 7:30, taking Bria and Cali home with them. The 4 cousins were sad for their time together to end!

Bria, Cali, and Samantha made their own hot dogs.  Katelyn
is not a hot dog eater, so she had chicken!

Jumping the ditches on the way to the camp store to get some
ice cream!  Somethings are tradition every year the girls
camp with us at Circle M!

S'mores are always a hit with the girls and the adults!

The girls loved their ice cream cones!
Chasing the big rainbow colored bubbles!

They like when Grandma is a part of the action!

George and Jean, camping friends from North Carolina, stopped by at 8 and we visited outside while Sam and Katelyn watched part of a movie.  George and Jean left around 9:15 and Sam and Katelyn went to bed around 9:45.  We were ready for bed too.

It was a fun day, but busy and exhausting!

Just a side note!  I did't get to finish this post until Sunday, but I manually adjusted the posting date to Thursday, so they are in order on my blog!
