Arrived at Hershey Preserve!

After a very restless night, I was up at 5:45 AM to meet my "Curvette" ladies for breakfast at Gus' in Ephrata.  Usually they go to breakfast on a Friday, but they changed it to today so I could be a part of it!  Thank you ladies!  We had a good time and I was able to "catch up" on what is happening in their lives!

I was home by 8:45 and Ken had spent a lot of the morning loading the food for the pantry, refrigerator and freezer in Waldo.   I really appreciated all of his hard work.  We chatted for a while and then were on our way to Hershey by 9:30.  Since it is only about 35 minutes away, I followed him in the CRV.

Amazing how full the CG was when we arrived, but the gate attendant suggested site H 14 on the hill, as some campers had just left.  It really is a great site with some shade and a stone base for Waldo.

We really like this site with the great view.  Our fire ring
is at the bottom of the little drop with plenty of room for
folks to sit around the campfire!

We were set-up rather quickly and then visited by Neil and Nancy.  So good to see them again.

Ken showered, we ate lunch, and were on our way to visit my parents by 12:45. We spent the afternoon there playing 4 games of Pinochle and the women won 3 of the 4 games. Go Ladies!

Back to the CG by 5, we ate dinner, and then went for a walk around the CG.  It was a much better weather day then forecast, very little rain, but hot and humid.

Watched America's Got Talent and American Ninja Warrior while working on the blog and downloading scrapbook pages and photos to order from Costco.

Hope to play some pickleball tomorrow morning!
