Friday - Very Busy Day and a Gorgeous One!

Ken and I left at 8:30 to help at the church's Food Pantry.  We had a lot of food to share with folks and lots of volunteers were there to serve.  We took 70 people through and it was a very rewarding day.

15 of us went to Buffalo Wings for lunch and were had a wonderful time of fun and fellowship. 

What a special group of friends!

After a quick stop at Aldi's for fruit, Ken and I were back to the CG around 3.  Ken read and rested while I did some reading outside.  It was such a beautiful day to be outdoors.

We left at 5:15 to pick-up Burt and Pat and drove to a Baptist Church in Punta Gorda for a 45 minute hymn sing with a fantastic pianist and a small orchestra.  Then there was a 1 1/2 hour concert by a men's southern gospel Christian quartet.  They were excellent and their keyboard player, amazing!!!  There was a whole pew of folks from Edgewater Church.  Ken and I both really enjoyed the evening.

We were back to the CG by 9:15 and went right to bed to read, relax, and then off to dreamland!  What a day!
