Left Hershey on Tuesday and Back to Lititz!

Ken and I were up by 7:30 on Tuesday morning, ate, and completed unhooking and packing for the morning departure to our apartment back in Lititz.  We had to take it slowly since Ken's wrist and back were both tender and sensitive.

We left the CG at 9:30 with Ken following me in Waldo.  We arrived in Lititz around 10:15 and began the process of unloading and putting things in their "proper" place.  It is a job, but by 1:30 we were finished, had lunch, and I had started doing the laundry.

We kept rather busy with Ken making some necessary phone calls, working on his computer while I was finished doing 3 loads of wash.  By 3 we were ready to take a short snooze.  Then it was shower time and I followed him to our garage man in Akron to drop off the 2014 CRV for an oil change and lube.  From there we drove to Fleetwood to Giannottis Restaurant to join our life group from Church for dinner.  We had a great time and left there around 8:15.  We were home by 9 and went right to bed to read.  No "grass grew under our feet today"!

Today, Wednesday, we were up fairly early.  Ken kept getting awake everytime he moved in bed because of his sore hip (a black/purple bruise about the size of a pineapple), wrist, and back.  We were able to go for a 2 1/2 mile walk and it felt good.  After breakfast Ken did some additional work in his office while I talked to Doloris and Nancy Savage.  Nancy and Neil had been to the Redwood factory on their way to the Redwood Rally and had some major work done on their 5th wheel.  They had to stay in a hotel for 2 nights but they are pleased with the work that was done while under warranty - hallelujah!  They are returning to Hershey Preserve today.  Doloris and Fred will be camping at PA Dutch starting tonight and will leave there on Sunday.

Ken and I left at 11 for 2 banks in Lancasters (I actually went to AC Moore and Michaels while he went to the banks) and then we made a trip to Costco for munchies for the beach and a few items for home.  Returned at 1:30 and had lunch.

We got a call from the garage that the CRV was done, so we drove in Waldo to Akron and Ken dropped me off to get the car and he went to get gas in Waldo.  Then I followed him to Cocalico Automotive and we left Waldo there so it can be inspected tomorrow.  After stopping at a local roadside stand for some produce, we were back home (again) by 4:30.  I spent time working on this blog and recording expenses in our budget program (ugh!!!).

We had a delicious dinner - rotiessiere chicken from Costco, a salad, and the best corn on the cob we have had this season!  Ken spent time connecting an inside antenna that arrived today from Costco online that we hope will allow us to get some TV channels when our cable is disconnected for a short time.  We can only hope!  After trying it at several different locations, we were only able to get 4 channels.  Not so good!!!!!  Then when Ken disconnected it from our TV a connector broke off and we think it was a piece that was actually permanently attached.  Oh, no!!!!  How can one thing keep leading to another?????

We walked to downtown Lititz and they had the main street closed for about 4 blocks for a classic car show.  Amazing how many people were walking the street checking out the 248 cars!  There was an old Good Humor Ice Cream truck with the owner dressed in the standard white uniform and he even had the coin "machine" hanging on his belt!  He was actually selling Good Humor ice cream.  We saw a fellow classmate and her husband from high school and had a nice time reconnecting.

Back to the house by 9 after walking 13,000 steps today.  By 10 we were in bed.  Seemed like another full day!
