Monday - Beautiful Warm, Sunny Day - 70's!

Ken was up early to read and do devotions but I only appeared at 8.  It felt so good to have a great night's sleep.  After getting ready for the day and having breakfast, we left around 9:30 to go to the Wilbur's storage area to see the damage to our car and talk to the manager of US Pipe Company.

The car looked okay from a distance, but upon close inspection, there were rough brown metal spots everywhere including the glass.  We talked to Connie, the owner and manager of the storage area, so we could be updated on what was happening.  She thought it was a great idea to personally talk with the manager of US Pipe next door.  He proved to be extremely personable and had scheduled an RV detailer and car detailer to be here this week to see what needed to be done and to give an estimate.  Our concern is whether there could be damage to the tires as well as the engine block.  Time will tell!

After leaving there, we headed to Wal-Mart for some needed groceries and then I drove so Ken could talk to our insurance company.  We were a bit disappointed in their approach leaving the ball in our court until more information and estimates are received.  We aren't getting too excited until we get further down the road!

Back home and we had such a busy afternoon.  For some reason, we decided to go through our closets and drawers to get rid of clothing before putting everything back that we had taken with us.  What a job, but we have about 4 garbage bags of clothes to take to Matthew 25, a local church thrift shop.  I also spent time rearranging somethings in the kitchen.  After all that work, we decided to take a walk in downtown Lititz.  It was a gorgeous day for walking!

We warmed up the extra Mexican food from last night's meal at Mo's and then spent the evening relaxing while watching The Voice and then the entire College Basketball Championship Game - a long, late one!  I did a lot of crocheting during that time.  We were in bed by midnight after a long day!
