A Busy, Active Day at the Campground!

Ken was up by 7 and I finally got out of bed around 7:30.  Ken prepped for breakfast while I worked on our blog and recorded our expenses in our budget program.  (That word "budget" seems like a dirty word!).  The 4 of us left for our walk around the CG at 8:30 (before breakfast).  We only did about 7,000 steps and decided we would get the rest doing other activities throughout the day.  We cooked breakfast outside and then all ate together.  After some relaxing time, we headed to the pickleball courts and played for about 1 1/2 hours.  Chuck and Melissa had only played a couple of times.  We had so much fun and plenty of exercise.  I am sure we will go back to the courts several times before we leave this CG.

We only got back to Waldo around 1:45 and ate out lunch on the picnic table.  My urologist had called with the results of my biopsy (it was only done 3 weeks ago today.  The results were great - the lowest possible reading for cancer cells and the least chance for any penetration into the bladder - very good news.  Very similar to my report 3 years ago.  So, we just have to keep on top of things with routine testing!  Hallelujah!

Ken and I spent some time working on our computers.  Also talked to Jamie and it appears they are making headway with Bria's problem with school.  She shared with her teacher that the girls on the bus pick on her!  The guidance counselor will talk with Bria today.  I commend Jamie for seeking help to resolve this problem!

Around 4 we went to the shuffleboard courts where we played 3 games - the men won 2 of the 3.  We have so much fun playing that game!  Back to Waldo for showers and prepping for dinner.  We had a short happy hour and then cooked dinner on the grill.  Had to cut out eating time outside short due to the invasion of mosquitoes.  Then off to Chuck and Melissa's for a night of games.  We played 2 games of Pinochle and tomorrow we will have the play the "bully"!

We actually found a court in the shade!

Come on Melissa!  I am sure the girls
can win this one!

Don't they know they are playing on opposite teams.
No fraternizing with the enemy!!!!!

This has certainly been a very busy day with lots of exercising!
