We were up at 6:30 AM and the 4 of us left for a walk around the CG at 7. We did the loop around the CG 2X and got over 11,000 steps. It was such a hot and humid morning, but we did get to enjoy the sunrise again. Back to Waldo by 8:45 and we were able to all eat breakfast outside.
We decided to play 2 games of corn hole, and even though the women were far ahead both games and tie a lot of it, we lost. It was rather frustrating! By then it was time for lunch, so after eating and cleaning up we showered and got ready to do some errands. Ken and I had spent time calling his cardio office to get a renewal for one of his needed prescriptions. We also had to call a local Costco to make sure we could get the medicine there and how they wanted us to get the info to them. It took numerous phone calls to both parties, but eventually we were successful.
The 4 of us left at 1:45 to go to Mt. Dora to The Gatehouse to pick up some of my jewelry that I had left there on consignment 1 1/2 years ago. Some of it had been sold, but none of it had been sold for quite sometime, so I was happy to get it back. From there we drove to a nearby Camping World and an RV Dealership where Chuck and Melissa wanted to buy a special cushion for the drivers seat. Unfortunately, they were out of the cushions. Then we went to Costco to get Ken's medicine and get a few groceries. Chuck and Melissa enjoyed looking around, for they are not members of Costco. We had to wait quite ahile for the prescriptions, but were on our way by 6. From there we stopped at Sonny's for dinner - my 1st Sonny's on this trip. I was so excited! One more treat on our way back to the CG - McDonald's for a hot fudge sundae! What a road trip.
We were back to the CG by 8. The 4 of us decided to take the night off from game playing to catch up on phone calls, our blogs, etc. I talked to my mother and left a message for Jamie!
