Off To Lazydays!

Ken and I were on our way to Lazydays near Tampa by 7:15 and boy was it ever a foggy morning!  Fortunately it lifted around 8:00 and driving got a lot easier for Ken!  We made 2 stops at rest areas, arriving at Lazydays by 10:45.  We checked in for the rally and then used our lunch vouchers at the Front Porch restaurant here at the complex.  We met with the service center to schedule a time for warranty work to be done on Waldo, since we had to cancelled the appointment we had for this past Tuesday due to Ken's heart procedure.  They were so accommodating and we agreed to leaving Waldo here when we go home for Thanksgiving and they will have the work completed when we return after the New Year.  We were thrilled.  Now we don't have to find a place to store Waldo and we know he will be safe at Lazydays!

We went to the Rally Center at 3 to play in a corn hole competition. Unfortunately, our 1st match was with 2 gentlemen who play all the time and are excellent.  We did okay, but we lost.  Ken and I played some ping pong and then headed back to Waldo to change for the Rally dinner and evening entertainment. The food was so good and we enjoyed the musical group that played lots of "oldies".

The CEO of Lazydays spoke at the Rally.  He left as CEO of
Best Buy 1 year ago!

Friday nights musical group!

Don't you love this beard????

It was a beautiful, warm evening without bugs, so we decided to take a long walk. It was near 90 today and it was still in the 70's at 8:00.  Another great day in sunny Florida!!

All of these golf carts, and there must be about 100, are just
for the salesmen to use to take potential customers
around the grounds!

One of the 3 service bay areas and they are all "double
sided"!

Another service bay area.  Note all the motorhomes!

I did get a call from Doloris this evening.  She and Fred became grandparents to Faye LeeAnne this afternoon.  This is their 1st grandchild, so they are extremely excited, as it should be!  Grandchildren are such a special blessing!

Also talked to my sister.  They are leaving Parris Island tomorrow morning and heading to Jekyll Island, one of Ken and my favorite places.
