Pickleball is Becoming a Favorite!

We were up at 7:30 and got ready to go for our walk around the CG.  4 of us started walking at 8:15 and were back alittle after 9. (over 6,000 steps).  We all made eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast and ate together outside.  George and Jean came by to chat!

By 10:30 we were on the Pickleball courts.  Jamie called just as we arrived there and I had such a nice conversation with her.  We chatted for at least 20 minutes.  Other campers were on the pickleball courts too, so we did some "round robin" playing.  We met some really nice people and some good pickleball players.  It was getting very warm when we finished playing around 12:45.  We made some lunch and ate outside!

There was a group of us playing Pickleball today!

After lunch the 4 of us got in the CRV and drove about 4 miles down the road to a Citrus Park where you could pick fruit in season.  They were also know for their orange juice slushies!  Of course we had to try them, but Chuck and Melissa had a chocolate yogurt cone and Ken and I shared a creamsicle orange smoothie.  Then we walked out into the orchard to pick some navel oranges and tangerines, the only fruit that is in season right now!  It was fun!

I had to try out the hula hoop at the orchard.  After all,
I am the senior hula hooping champion of Ephrata!

The Citrus Park was huge with so many varieties of
fruit.  Unfortunately, the seaon is just beginning!

Getting ready to fill the bag!

Quite a bag full for $13.00!

We had a good time at the Citrus Park!

Back to the CG where we each spent sometime in our motorhomes catching up on some bills, etc.  Then Ken and I Skyped with Jamie, Bria and Cali.  So nice to see and talk to them.

We headed over to the pool around 5 to met up with Chuck and Melissa.  After sometime in the pool, we enjoyed the hot tub before heading back to our rigs to make dinner.  By then it was too late to eat outside because of the mesquitoes, so we each did our own thing.  Ken grilled chicken and steaks on our grill.

The 4 of us played Pinochle (women won), 3 games of Sequence Dice (the men were victorious, and then the women won Skip-Bo.

Another great day in Paradise!!!!!
