Wow, this stay at the Thousand Trails CG near Orlando has flown by! Can't believe we head out tomorrow morning for Myakka State Park. Chuck and Melissa will be moving with us.
We were up by 7:30 and the 4 of us went for our walk around the CG. It was an overcast morning, but warm. It got to the upper 80's today. After an egg breakfast which we ate outdoors, we rode our bikes to the pickleball courts. All of us were feeling rather stiff and sore from all this exercise! What's that about???? We played for about 2 hours and had a great time, but we did sweat a lot!
Back to our rigs for lunch and to begin packing up for tomorrow's departure. Chuck and Melissa left to run numerous errands, but Ken and I started the cleaning process. He worked outdoors while I cleaned Waldo including vaccuming and washing the floors. I guess you have to do some work some of the time!!!! Around 4:15 we drove to Wal-Mart to get groceries, since we don't think we will be close to stores when we are at Myakka!
Time for showers so Ken could disconnect the sewer and water. We filled our water tanks yesterday, since the CG had a water main break and we need to boil water for 1 minute before using it. By filling our tanks before the turned off the water we do not have to do that - the water was fine before they did the repairs. As of today it is still not drinkable!
Well, I think we are just about ready for leaving this CG tomorrow morning. We had dinner inside Waldo and I talked to my mother and Doloris. Played some games at Chuck and Melissa's motorhome.
We have had such a good time at this campground!
Sounds like you're having a wonderful time. Sorry to hear about the water... that's a pain!! I sure hope I can play pickleball after my sx...sounds like fun! Have a safe trip tomorrow. Love you, Cindy and John
