Our 3rd Year Doing the Craft Show in Sea Isle City!

Ken and I were up to the 6 AM alarm, ate a quick breakfast, packed a few drinks and snacks, and we're on our way to Sea Isle City by 6:50.  It was a warm morning with some fog here and there.  We were able to park relatively close to our assigned spot on the boardwalk and we got unloaded rather quickly.  Set-up went well also, and we were ready to sell by 8:30.

The weather for the show was perfect - sunny warm and no breeze until 1:00. By then we were happy for the breeze because it had gotten very hot.  We were amazed at the large crowd that strolled through the show and how much they spent.   We had a very good day and really good time.  So happy to have Tom and Becky stop by and of course, Fred, Doloris, Chuck and Melissa.   We love their support!  The show was from 9 to 4 and by the end of the show we were exhausted and so ready to be done.  We hardly sat all day.  We so appreciated that Chuck and Melissa came back to help us pack up and carry things to the car.

We tried a new set-up with our tables and it worked so well!

We were thrilled with the number of folks who attended the
show and the our sales.  It was a good day!

We were all back at the CG by 4:40 and it was time for Happy Hour.  All Ken and I wanted to do was sit down and relax.  We all chatted and had a good time.  Fred built a campfire and Ken and I went back to Waldo to make salads for tonight and tomorrow and I sauteed fresh green beans with onion and garlic. The men grilled all the meat on the campfire and the 6 of us enjoyed dinner together on the picnic table at Fred and Doloris' site.

After clean-up, we all went to Chuck and Melissa's for an evening of card playing.  Another victorious night for the women - the completed game of 5 Crowns, Skip-Bo and 2 games of Sequence Dice.  The men did win one game of Sequence Dice!

Back to Waldo by 10:30 and we went right to bed.  It was a fun, profitable day, but we were so tired!
