The 4 of us enjoyed our morning drinks outside on another sunny, warm day. After eating breakfast, Chuck, Ken and I left to go to a flea market at Marion, about 35 minutes from their house. Melissa had a medical appointment and she encouraged us to go during that time.
Chuck had mentioned that the market had "tons" of sunglasses at very reasonable prices and because I tend to lose mine, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get a few pairs! It was fun walking throughout the market and sunglass alley really did have so many kinds of sunglasses. I bought 2 pairs and they were the styles I have been searching for without much success!
We were back to their home by 11:30 and all of us were ready for lunch. After some discussion about today's activities, we changed and left for the pickleball courts. We played numerous games and had a great time, but I experienced a lot of leg pain that made my game playing a bit uncomfortable. Not sure what is going on! So far it doesn't appear that the warm weather is helping!
Then we moved to the shuffleboard courts and for some reason, Melissa and I just couldn't get it together. The men beat us "big time" in both games. We were back by 3:45, showered and left for dinner at a Mexican Restaurant. We all enjoyed our food.
From there we went to the town square at Brownwood so the men could get some ice cream and then we all sat and enjoyed the live music and watching all the people dancing. It was a gorgeous evening to be outdoors.
When we returned to their home, the men won Skip-Bo by a huge margin and then also won a game of Pinochle. We watched some football before calling it a day. It was another busy one, but what fun!
