Another Day of Fun on Pine Island!

The Lazy Flamingo!  Colors like Key West!

This morning we went to the Craft Show here in the Campground.  Plenty of jewelry and unique woodcraft, etc.  Then we loaded up our bikes and drove to Pine Island Center to park the truck and hop on our bikes.  We rode from the center of Pine Island to Bokeelia and back, about 18 to 20 miles.  We loved the pier area where they catch so many varieties of fish.  We ate lunch on the deck of the Lazy Flamingo where Ken had his 1st grouper for this trip.  It was in a caesar salad.  Loved it!  The ride back to the park was rather tough - very windy!  Really like our new bikes!  Yeah!!

Ospry with his/her lunch!

Enjoyed seeing all the palm trees, ospry, and the beautiful water.  Stopped at a local roadside stand for fresh fruit and veggies.  Love those honeybell oranges - so sweet!

Ed and Sandy, our neighbors across the street came over to see Willie and Ken made her his famous Key Lime Rum drink.  She loved it.  It was nice to visit with them.  They are here from New York and full-time in their trailer.  They are here from October to May and then return to New York and continue living in their trailer.  Sold their home a year ago.

Another day in the upper 70's but a bit overcast.  Looking forward to the big Super Bowl Party here at the CG tomorrow.  It was so much fun last year!

The Poles are In!  Pine Island Wins!!
