Arrived in Florida at Lazydays!

Ken and I enjoyed our stay at the LaQuinta Hotel and their breakfast this morning was very good.  This chain of hotels offers nice rooms and amenities for a fairly reasonable price.

We were on our way to Lazydays at 8 AM and had a nice drive with not too much traffic, but some construction.  We arrived at Lazydays at 12:15 and went right to the campground to check-in.  Included in your stay is breakfast and lunch in their cafeteria each day, so we went there to have lunch.  They have changed their choices for each meal and have more variety and healthier options.  We had soup and salad and it was very tasty.

Then we went to meet with our service adviser, Samantha, to discuss the work they had done on Waldo.  It appears that all was completed except the replacing of the damaged linoleum.  That was our choice, for we wanted to come here and go in and out of Winnebago Motorhomes and see the different options we would have and not try to pick the flooring off the internet.  So, we spent about 45 minutes checking out the Winnebagos on their sales lot and finding our favorite choice for replacing our current linoleum that is no longer available.  (That would still be my 1st choice!  Why do they get rid of a good one and then come up with some strange patterns???)

Then the work began!  We spent the rest of the afternoon unloading the CRV, unpacking all the "stuff" we brought, and then trying to find a place to put all that "stuff".  Not an easy job.  Obviously we brought toooooo much!!!!!  I think it is time to go through our clothing and drop some off at Goodwill.

By 5:30 we were exhausted and decided it was a nice evening to take a walk around the campground and then stop at Cracker Barrel for dinner.  It is located on Lazydays property.  It would not be our 1st choice of restaurants by far, but it was handy and we had a gift card!  Enough reasons to head that direction.

We were back to Waldo by 7 and not very peppy!  So I worked on this block while Ken did some reading and meditating.  I also did some e-mails and a phone call to my mother to let her know we arrived safe and sound!

By 9 we headed to bed for hopefully a good night's sleep.  Tomorrow we will go to Costco, Wal-Mart and Parkesdale Produce Market for needed groceries, etc. Hopefully by the afternoon we can find a little time to relax before heading to Naples on Wedesday morning.  We have certainly done a lot of driving these last 2 days, but we are in sunny, warm Florida!  It was in the 60's today and supposed to get warmer by the end of the week.  Hallelujah!!!!
