What a Rainy Night and Morning. Then Beautiful Sunshine!

It poured during the night and continued until about 11 AM and was very windy. Ken was up at 6 but finally had a good night's sleep.  I only got up at 7:45 and we slowly got ready.   Had a very light breakfast since we are going to Sweet Tomato for lunch.

I did have a chat with Nancy Savage and appreciated talking with her again. Noela and Ernie picked us up at 10 and we headed towards Sarasota.  We had found a store when searching the internet called Environeers that carried sun protective clothes for women and I wanted to check it out.  So, that was our 1st stop.  I was able to purchase a long sleeved blouse, but it was hard for me to spend so much money on 1 shirt.  Ken encouraged me to ignore the price and buy what is necessary for taking precautions with skin cancer.  So, I "bit the bullet" and bought a shirt.

When we left there around 11:30 the sun was shining and it had gotten very warm.  I was dressed for rain, not warm sunny weather, but who cares!  It was a nice day!!!!!  We drove to Sweet Tomato and had another delicious salad and some homemade soup.  The desserts weren't bad either!

Then it was on to Costco for a little more shopping.  We didn't need much, but Ken wanted some sparkling water and Costco Green Iced Tea.  We were back to Waldo by 3:30 and it was still a gorgeous day.  After putting everything in its proper place, we changed to cooler clothing.

At 4 we loaded all 4 bikes onto our car in preparation for our adventure tomorrow to Shark Valley in the Everglades.  Then we walked to a neighboring hangout, The Bean Cafe to meet 4 other couples from the CG who are friends of Ernie and Noela's.  We had a fun time sitting outside chatting and listening to the live music.

All of these folks except Ken and I are staying at Harbor
Lakes CG for at least 3 months.

The 4 of us walked the 1 1/2 miles back to the CG and decided to call it a day. We still hadn't eaten dinner and we wanted to pack our lunches and get everything ready for our trip to the Everglades tomorrow.

It was a relaxing evening of reading, watching some TV, and working on the blog.  We certainly had a fun day and tomorrow should be another great adventure!
