We woke to temperatures in the low 50's and headed to the pickleball courts by 8:30. We got to play a lot of games because there were only 4 of us at the beginning and the number of players "grew" to about 9. Ken and I were both happy with our play but also very stiff and sore when we headed back to Wilbur around 10:30.
We stopped to chat with Ernie and Noela and then changed, packed our lunches and "stuff" for the beach and were leaving the CG by 11. We stopped at Valvoline for an oil change (a very good experience), Wells Fargo to make a deposit from the craft show (YES!), and then stopped at the Englewood Sports Complex to check out a local craft show to see what type of crafts were being offered and to see if it would be a show for us to do next year. It was a very nice craft show and we will definitely look into doing it in 2018.
Then it was on to the beach. The parking lot at Manasota was full, so we drove to Blind Pass and were fortunate to get a spot when someone was leaving. It was a gorgeous beach day and Ken found some nice sea glass and lots of sharks teeth.
We left the beach at 4:45, made a stop at Wal-Mart and then back to the CG. Again we stopped to chat with Ernie and Noela and make plans for the evening. Back to Wilbur to shower, cook dinner (which we ate outside), clean-up and then to their 5th wheel to play 1 game of 5 Crowns. It was a victory for the men! We were back to Wilbur by 9:30 and we went right to bed. Both of us felt tired, probably from all the activity the last 2 days. I am trying to make up for all the days I was sick and didn't have the energy to do hardly anything!
