Good-by to Barry and Deb!

Ken went for a 1 1/2 hour walk with Ernie while I got ready for pickleball and our trip to the beach.  I was back by 9:30 and we walked over to Barry and Deb's site to say our good-byes.  We wanted to give them time to pack up and let them concentrate on the necessary steps needed to be ready to depart.

After hugs and kind words, the 2 of them and Quinn were on their way to Homosassa, then to the Panhandle of Florida before going back home to Toronto.  We certainly had a wonderful 2 1/2 days together.  Looking forward to seeing them again next year!

Getting "hitched" and ready to travel!

Quinn was patiently waiting for "take-off"!
One last picture before they leave Harbor Lakes!

Everyone on board!

Blast Off!!

See you next year!!  Thanks for coming to Harbor Lakes!

Ken and I returned to Wilbur and finished packing things to take to the beach. We hadn't been there since the previous Friday - it was time.  We arrived at Manasota Beach at 11:30 and what a gorgeous day - plenty of sunshine and in the low 80's.  It was delightful.  Ken spent 3 hours walking the beach looking for sea glass and sharks teeth.  Both of us took the time to sit and eat our lunch but mostly we were walking the beach.  We found lots of sharks teeth and a few pieces of sea glass.

Lots of treasures from 1 afternoon on the beach!

We only left the beach at 5 and headed right back to the CG.  Both of us were tired so a 1/2 hour nap was needed.  After showers, Ken grilled salmon and chicken and I made us salads.  We were at Ernie and Noela's RV from 8 to 9:30 where the women won UNO.  We had a fun evening!

Tomorrow we will probably hang around the CG so I can have some time to paint my coconut fish!
