Sunday - A Sunny, Warmer Day!

Ken was up early to read and do devotions while I only appeared at 7.  After getting ready for Church I did some reading and then we left for Edgewater UM Church at 9.  With Ken going to CR and the 2 of us helping at the Food Bank, we are starting to recognize numerous folks who attend there.  We even know several of them by name - Yes!!!

Today the minister did his State of the Church message and it was a good one.  It was also communion, so a very meaningful service!  From there Ken and I went to Denny's for our usual Sunday morning breakfast when in Florida!  Dave Horst called while we were in Wal-Mart and he and Sharon were about 1 1/2 hours from their winter home here in Florida!  We are looking forward to visiting them in February!

Cindy and John had left PA around 8:15 this morning (5 degrees) and are on their way to LaBelle, FL where they will be camping till March after a few nights at Kings Bay Submarine Base where they have their motorhome stored.  We looked forward to spending some time together this winter!

Ken spent time outside putting up the awning and all the things we had put away because of the wind we have had for the past 5 or 6 days.  He also washed some fossils and sharks teeth we found since arriving!  I worked on scrapbook camping pages for our granddaughters and then on this blog!  I watched the football play-off game while working at the computer!

I did talk to my mother today, and both she and dad are doing well.  She is mostly back to normal after about 5 days with a very bad cold and slight touch of pneumonia!  Hallelujah!

Ken and I took a short walk around the CG, stopping at Ernie and Noela's to visit with them and friends, Jim and Joyce.  The 4 of them had spent over 2 hours putting up Ernie and Noela's screened room.

Ken grilled chicken for dinner and around 7:15, Ernie and Noela came by and we taught them how to play Hand and Foot!  We played 2 rounds and they did extremely well - fast learners!  The men were winning but we have 2 more rounds to play before it is a completed game, so I think the women will probably win!!!!!

They left at 9:30 and Ken and I headed to bed!  It was a good day!
